This weekend is the Formula Ford Festival at Laguna Seca Raceway in scenic Monterey, Ca. We can not attend however as we have other comittments this weekend. It was scheduled for next weekend , but they moved it back a week so it wouldn't coincide with the SCCA National Runoffs next weekend at Road America.

Not our best outing this past weekend as we spent spent all day Thursday and Friday working on the car instead of on the track with a clutch linkage problem. (Thanks to Porter Racing for all their help) We missed practice and qualifying on Friday and then dropped out of the race two laps from the finish on Saturday with a bad miss in the engine. Qualifying on Saturday afternoon went well, but when we re-entered the paddock after the session the throughout bearing lost one of its keepers and we were done for the weekend. We will miss the next race at Laguna Seca as they moved the date a week earlier and we have other commitments...

Father's Day Double Regional Road Race update - Posted Monday, June 22, 2009 by mms
Our first time on the track this year met with some success as we finished 6th in Saturday's race and fifth in both Sunday races. We had to replace a worn dog ring in the transmission on Saturday after it kept popping out of 4th gear. Thanks to some of our fellow competitors for their assistance with the change. Our next outing should be the Labor Day Double Regional at Sears Point (Infineon).
